When a Dipshit Goes To War
The U.S. has the most powerful military on Earth - and a commander in chief who has no idea what to do with it
Iran is threatening to attack U.S. ships. If we had an intelligent, strategic thinker as president, they would not have dared say this, much less actually do it. We are actually losing the war we started, and it’s because we have anything but an intelligent, strategic thinker. We have Donald Trump, a notorious dipshit, squatting in the People’s House. That should frighten us all.
America has the most powerful military on Earth. We have aircraft carriers, stealth bombers, nuclear submarines, satellites, drones, missiles, and enough firepower to turn large pieces of the planet into smoking holes. What we don’t have is somebody with brains in the White House.
Real strength isn’t pounding your chest and threatening to blow everybody to hell. Any dipshit can threaten people when he’s standing behind the biggest gun in the room. Real strength is knowing when to use that gun, when to leave it in the holster, and — most importantly — what happens after you pull the trigger.
That’s strategy.
And that’s precisely what appears to be missing.
Iran can’t defeat us militarily. It merely has to make the conflict painful, expensive, prolonged, and politically poisonous. Threaten shipping. Harass American forces. Encourage proxies. Keep the region unstable. Wait for American casualties to mount and public support to collapse, which isn’t a long wait, because it’s already happened.
Meanwhile, the United States gets dragged deeper into a conflict with no obvious finish line and no clear definition of what “victory” is even supposed to look like.
That’s how powerful countries lose wars to weaker countries. We’ve done it before.
The frightening part isn’t that Iran is suddenly stronger than America. It isn’t.
The frightening part is that America’s enormous power is being directed by Donald Trump, the embodiment of stupidity.
A notorious dipshit is squatting in the People’s House, playing with the world’s most dangerous collection of matches.
As I said, that should frighten us all.
